Course Description
The goal of this course is for students to maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and skill on the disciplines of technology, business and law to allow them to minimize the occurrence and severity of information security incidents. The students will learn techniques used to detect, respond to, and prevent network intrusions. The duration of the course is three years and its syllabus is divided into six semesters that would provide the students with an in-depth understanding of core concepts with major thrust on functional competencies related to real life situations. The course bear a strong adherence to computer based technological skills and capabilities, and thereby resulting in efficiency to handle a variety of issues related to Information and Cyber Security in any organization.
Program Overview
Industry-driven programme that covers the introduction to Cyber Security and Cyber Law Standards. Provides an awareness of adherence to a high standard of ethical behavior on Cyber Security services. Trains students to apply technical strategies, tools, and techniques to secure data and information for a customer or client.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed or appeared in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination (CBSE, ISC, A Levels or any other equivalent Board Examination) with Science Group (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer application) subjects are preferred. Students who are due to appear to class XII final exams/awaiting results may be given provisional admission depending on their CET score. Admissions are strictly on merit basis.

SEM I: Fundamental of Computing, Mathematics for computing professionals, English Communication, Digital Principles and system design, Computational Statistics.
SEM II: Computer architecture and Organization, Data structures and Algorithms, Environmental science, Cyber Law and Ethics, Object oriented Concepts.
SEM III: Database management systems and distributed databases, Security architecture and models, Operating system and system programming, Computer networks, Cyber threat and modeling.
SEM IV: Cryptography and Information Security, Parallel and distributed computing, Ethical hacking and system defense, Software Engineering and software design with UML, Advanced computer network and SECURITY.
SEM V: Cyber Forensics, Vulnerability analysis, Penetration Testing, Malware Analysis, Optional paper I, Optional paper II.
SEM VI: Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Ethical Hacking, Block Chain, Risk Management, Penetration testing.
