Course Description

BCA course provides a sound academic base from which an advanced career in Computer Application can be developed. These graduates can start their career as Junior Programmer and get promoted to the post of senior Programmer & Project Managers in the IT sector.
Program Overview
Exposure to new information technologies and communication systems will make each student an expert. It exposes the students to industry relevant subjects like DBMS, Multimedia, Data Structure, Languages like C++, JAVA, VC++, VB, Networking, Software Programming etc. It trains undergraduates for development of computer software in diverse range of application areas. Provides the students with a sound background in Computing, Business Functions and Mathematics.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed or appeared in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination (CBSE, ISC, A Levels or any other equivalent Board examination) with English as a compulsory subject are preferred. Students who are due to appear for Class XII final exams/awaiting results may be given provisional admission depending on their CET score. Admissions are strictly on merit basis.
Curriculum (Course Modules)
FIRST YEAR: Digital Electronics, Business Systems and Applications, Introduction to Programming Mathematics, Computer Architecture and Systems Software, Information Systems Analysis & Design, Computer Programming (VISUAL BASIC) PC Software.
SECOND YEAR: Operating Systems, Data Base Management System, Data Structures with C, Object Oriented Programming with C++, Graphics & Internet Software, Project Management and Quality Assurance, Mathematics for Computing Statistics, Numerical Methods & Algorithms.
THIRD YEAR: Data Communication & Computer Networks, Advanced networking and Communication, Intelligent Systems, Image Processing, Advanced Unix and Shell Programming, Human Computer Interaction, Multimedia & E-Commerce Software Engineering, Object Oriented Programming with Java, Advanced Database Management, Windows Programming, Major Project Unix & shell Programming Seminar, Minor Project.
